CPT Robot assisted hysterectomy

I need some confirmation please - we are having a difference of opinions in my office and some extra info would be helpful...............

I can not find anything that specifies a code as being with or without a robotic assist. From everything I am finding (and experience) there is no increase compensation for the use of a robot. The procedure performed is the same either way (TLH or LAVH) but there is an "S" code that can be added to document the use of the robot (which still doesn't mean you get more money).

You know I agree with you Wendy. I don't think there is a code specific for Robot assisted. It will show up though because it is getting used more and more. Also, you are correct, no more money.

Great thing to post by the way. These are the things the new students will be faced with and as they are used more and more coders out in the field.
